In these times of uncertainty we at Direct Engineering were wondering what we could do to offer our customers a better, more improved service, so we took the decision to extend our fabrication facility.
After months of drawing up designs and planning, we are in the process of adding a purpose built 3000 sq ft extension.
This extension will allow our workforce to perform their duties in a more methodical production line environment. This in turn will improve our throughput and lead times whilst at the same time introducing new technological production methods.
Movement of products and fabrications around the shop will also be improved with the introduction of a new 5 tonne gantry crane.
Some photos below show current progress of the new facility. We will continue to update as the build progresses.
